A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO A TALKING STORIES SESSION

A Talking Stories session typically lasts 3-4 hours, including an in-depth interview followed by a portrait photography shoot. The interview, will be audio recorded or filmed based on your purchased product. Each session is facilitated by a Talking Stories Producer, with whom you'll have had prior contact.
Step 1: Equipment set-up.

After the initial greetings and introductions, we will prepare the necessary equipment,and set up the recording equipment.

We will choose a quiet and comfortable space where we can conduct the interview without interruptions. Please feel free to suggest anywhere that allows you to feel relaxed and focused, as this will enhance the depth and quality of your storytelling.

A sound check will be conducted to ensure optimal audio levels and clarity.
Step 2: Interview

We will provide guidance and support to make you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the interview process.

The interview will explore the depths of your life journey, capturing your personal experiences, profound insights, and cherished moments. If desired, you can request to review and work on the set of questions before the interview.
Step 3: Portrait Session

After the interview, we will transition into the portrait photography session.

Our producer will capture stunning portraits that authentically reflect your story and personality.

We will work closely with you to create visually captivating images that beautifully complement your narrative from the interview.
Step 4: Review and Feedback

After the interview and portrait session, we will take a moment to review the content and ensure that we have captured your story accurately.

Step 5: Wrapping Up

Before concluding the session, we will provide you with an overview of the next steps and what to expect moving forward.

We will discuss the production process, including editing and delivery timelines for the audio program and portraits.
Step 6: Post-Session

Following the session, our team will handle the editing and production process, meticulously crafting your audio program and preparing the final portraits.

Once ready, we will deliver the audio and photo program to you as an online link and mail you the legacy box if preferred.
